The house still exists (as of August 2001), looking pretty much as it did then.
This is the East side of the house, which is more or less the back side.

Another picture of this house documents the fact that this was the Abram Pettit home
where Wilson grew up. At least, some of the family thought Wilson grew up here.
Dennis Kelley has discovered records that indicate that Abram and Wilson lived up the
street at 8 Spalding in 1876 and 1880.

This is the West side, the location of the porch. Many family pictures were taken here.
This one was taken in 1917. It was found in daughter Mary's picture collection.
