Even if you have never been there, if you have looked at all eight pages of these pictures, I think you have a pretty good idea of what the Li River is all about and why it is so famous.

Next, you're in for another treat. We'll go out on the Li River right across from our hotel in Guilin, and watch them fish with cormorants. This is something you may read about in National Geographic, but it's a once in a lifetime experience for those priviledged to see it!
