Lunch at a local pub

Not quite the quaint ambience we expect in a London pub, but good food at a reasonable price, which is a welcome change from the pricy fare offered at the Conrad.
For example, the least expensive thing on the Conrad menu was a
scoop of ice cream for £6 or about $11!
