The Gardens of Villa Torrigiani

Day 15: Monday, April 25, 2005

A Lemon In A Pot

This is one of many potted lemon trees to be found in the garden.
The Camillias

are noteworthy in the gardens of Villa Torrigiani. They were added to the garden by the late Marquis Torrigiani, Carlo Luca early in the twentieth century.

These are the last of our pictures of the Tuscan countryside.
On our vicarious tour of Tuscany, we will stop by Pisa, which is right on our way, to see some of Gertrude Meyer's pictures taken just a few days later, on May 3rd, 2005.
