Business as Usual on the Grand Canal
The picture below is taken from the center of the picture above.
The interesting thing about it is that it shows the cross-canal gondola service.
Because there are only 3 bridges crossing the Grand Canal, gondolas provide ferry service crossing the canal for passengers. These ferry gondolas are stationed at the vaporetto stops.
