7:10 AM ~ The city follows the river.

Rarely do we have the opportunity to see so much of a city as we approach it. This city lies along the Tagus River that creates the large, protected harbor.
Stay tuned and enjoy as we enter the city of Lisbon.

7:17 AM ~ Torre de Belem

This is a famous landmark that was on an island in the river before it changed course.
This landmark is important to shipping because this is where the pilot boards.
Notice the ship-like shape of the building.

7:21 AM ~ Monument To The Explorers

The light wasn't so good when these pictures were taken, so the contrast was enhanced a bit on this and the previous picture to make the subject easier to see.
