It's a beautiful day and visibility so good we can see the volcanoes across the Cook Inlet. Until the one in the photo above was identified for us, we wondered if it might be Denali (Mt. McKinley).

These photos placed heel to toe would be a panorama. That is the left edge of the photo of Mt. Spurr below fits next to the right edge of the photo of Mt. Redoubt above.

After snapping the volcanoes, Pat turned around to get some nice pictures of the fireweed and spruce trees near the road.
