The sun rising over Mauna Loa glares at the camera.

A Tender Day

Kailua Kona has no harbor to speak of, surely not capable of handling a 1200 passenger cruise ship, so we will tender to the pier today. We again watch as they prepare our lifeboats for use as tenders. These boats have two propellers (screws) in contrast to those not used as tenders, which have only one.
