Last Formal Night
Tuesday, October 17th, 2000
We've got to pack tomorrow.

The Parade of the Baked Alaska

This must be a tradition on all the cruise ships—at least those that have formal nights, and it's always exciting to see the waiters in formal attire parade these sparkling trays.

Pat Griffith watches as Sumi brings our baked Alaska to the table. He seems to be enjoying the spectical as much a we are.

Below: It takes skill to walk down stairs in the dark carrying a tray full of gooy glop and a sparkler.

The cooks make their appearance for our appreciation.

And Dick and Diana Klumpp enthusiastically show theirs.

And this is the end of the story of our wonderful cruise to Hawaii. Please come back and enjoy pictures from some of our other travels. China's next.
