This is an Argentine research station. The area is rich in wild life. Penguin rookeries are scattered along the shoreline of Hope Bay. Below:

A couple of the workers come out to see what's going on. They stand on a clear gray patch of rock in front of the red building. Seeing our big ship in this bay is an unique occurrence.
