Chilean Waters

On The Pacific

Day 21: Thursday, January 24, 2002

A Bit of Chilean Coast

The Pacific Ocean is almost glass at 9:33 AM.

A Straight Trail

Just Glass

At 11:45 in the morning it's about as smooth as it can get.
What a contrast with our days on the Drake Passage!

Our Bow Makes A Small Wake.

Much of the rest of our day at sea was spent packing. Checked bags will be in the halls by 2 AM, and we'll be out of our rooms by 7:30! That's the way it is on a cruise, no matter which ship — they have a short time to get ready for the passengers of the next cruise.

Next we disembark in Valparaiso and ride to Santiago
where we will visit Toro y Concho winery.
